Phenowise
For long conditions, and the people keeping track of them

Medical care is expensive. Make every visit count. Phenowise helps you walk in prepared.

Deductibles, copays, and fifteen minutes with the doctor. How much of that visit gets spent reconstructing the months since the last one depends on what you remember, and when it happened. Phenowise is where you keep that record, a few minutes at a time, so the visit starts from the whole picture instead of a blank page.

$1 for the first 14 days, then $49 a month for each person you're tracking. The account itself is free. Informational, never a diagnosis.

OXCARBAZEPINE (for Epilepsy) — its side effect Abdominal pain is being tracked under Constipation. The dashed line is that crossover; worth a look before adding anything else for it.

The first page of the printable record you hand the doctor. Conditions on the left, medications on the right, and a dashed line where a side effect of one medicine is being tracked under a different condition. That line is the kind of thing a fifteen-minute appointment never has time to find. Drawn from a sample record.

The point

A summary is easy to generate. A record built over time is harder to dismiss.

Anyone can ask an AI to summarize their symptoms. Phenowise is different because the record is built over months: dated entries, weekly check-ins, medications with the reason each dose changed, the questions you asked and what the provider answered, and your own corrections. The summary is written from that record. It never replaces it, and it never decides anything.

Working inside it

You can't change the system. You can be ready for it.

Medical care is what it is: several providers, each seeing a slice, none of them holding the whole story, and a deductible every time you go back. Phenowise doesn't try to fix that. It helps you work inside it. One record, kept by the person living it, that goes to every appointment and every second opinion.

And because it sits outside the medical system, your record isn't captive to it. No hospital holds it, no practice owns it, and nothing about switching doctors makes it disappear. It goes where you go.

What you keep

The record you wish you'd had at the last appointment.

Everything here is in the product today.

  • Symptoms, marked better, same or worse.

Each with a note in your own words. Symptoms you remove keep their history, and come back with it if you bring them back.

  • Medications, side effects, and the reason a dose changed.

A dose that moved from 300 to 600 is a number. A dose that moved because of breakthrough seizures, followed by the seizures going quiet, is a finding.

  • A weekly summary, in plain language and in clinical language.

What changed since the last report, what moved together in the record, and the questions worth asking your provider, with their answers recorded when you get them.

  • A printable record for the appointment.

Conditions, medications, what changed and when. The months between visits, on paper, in the doctor's hands.

Between appointments

The record keeps getting stronger.

A side effect from one condition's medicine, a note about another, and a weekly question with its answer, all in one place and in order. That is how things that happened weeks apart end up next to each other.

Corrections

The last word is yours.

Phenowise writes a summary every week from what you entered. When a sentence is wrong, you say so, and it is corrected. When the provider answers a question, you record the answer. When a symptom was removed by mistake, you bring it back and its history comes with it. Nothing in the record is rewritten behind your back, and every entry and change is in a log with who made it and when.

  • Under the weekly summary: a button that says "That's not quite right."
  • Under each provider question: record the answer, or add a correction later.
  • Under past symptoms: "Bring back," with every rating it had.
This week's overviewSample record
Your epilepsy symptoms have generally trended better over recent months, though seizures continue to recur periodically. Abdominal pain linked to your Oxcarbazepine dose increase in July has recently improved.

Whose record it is

Not connected to any hospital or health system.

Nothing is pulled in from anywhere. You write the record, and it belongs to the person it's about. You can export all of it, delete all of it, or withdraw consent at any time, from inside the app. A caregiver holds a dated, revocable grant to act for someone, never ownership.

Phenowise surfaces patterns for you and your provider to look at. It does not diagnose, predict or treat.

Pricing

One price, stated plainly.

$1

for the first 14 days of each person you track. The clock starts when you add them, not when you sign up.

$49

a month for each person after that. Add or remove people any time; the bill follows.

$0

for the account itself. You are charged only for people you've started. Your card is held by Stripe, and we never see it.

Why not free? Because a free health app is paid for with your data. Here you are the customer, the record is yours, and the only person who could ever monetize it is you. The details, with an example.

A few words from William
"If I truly wish to help my own, I must be willing to help all."

What began as a focused mission, to address a narrow set of health challenges with data and technology, has grown into something far greater. Disease does not respect categories, borders or demographics, and neither should our solutions. That is why Phenowise is built to address all conditions and serve all people with fairness and empathy. It was not merely a technical pivot. It was a moral commitment.
